This webinar has been planned in line with the annual CPLOL European Day of Speech and Language Therapy and mirrors this year’s theme.
There will also be a very exciting announcement about future changes in store for CPLOL!

Are you a clinical practitioner? A service manager? An educator? A researcher? A service-user?
We have all had to rapidly adopt new ways of working and learning to maximise the opportunities of available technologies.

Everyone will want to hear from our guest presenters as they generously share their insights, experience and advice of leading innovative and effective new ways of working in a wide range of healthcare contexts across mainland Europe and the UK.

And as usual in #ReSNetSLT, our primary focus is approaches to research and service evaluation.
We have asked all our speakers to share with us their experiences, reflections, insights and advice …..
– how can we measure these new ways of working in a meaningful way?
– what do we already know, and where are the knowledge gaps?

Our speakers include strategic leads for Clinical Information Services, clinical practitioners and researchers: with a clear focus on learning points that are relevant internationally across all service settings and professions.

And HERE it is – our “big reveal” of our (International!) invited guest speakers:
Fofi Constantinidou CPLOL Deputy Chair, Professor of Psychology and Director, Centre for Applied Neuroscience, University of Cyprus
Derek Munn  – Director of RCSLT Policy and Public Affairs
Mélanie Gréaux – PhD student, University of Cambridge
Melanie Dornstauder – PhD Student, University of Newcastle
Rafiah Badat – St Georges University Hospital & City University of London
Jon Higham – Consultant in Oral Medicine and Chief Clinical Information Officer, Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust
Raman Kaur – Divisional Lead Allied Health Professionals, Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

Here’s the LINK for this open access paper from 2 of our featured guest presenters: read about their research design for this “rapid review”, as well as the implications of their findings for clinical practice.

And keep watching after the event when we will upload links for other relevant publications and useful resources.
